Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions are welcome here.

The decision to do this kind of healing work isn't small. If you're feeling unsure, nervous, or curious - you're in the right place. This page answers some of the most common questions I hear. And if you still have more? I'm happy to answer them.

What if I don’t know what I believe anymore… is that okay?

Yes.

For a lot of people, that’s actually where this work begins.

When you’ve been part of an indoctrinating system, you’re often taught what to believe before you ever learn how to think, how to notice, or how to trust your own inner voice.

So when you step outside of that system, it’s very common to feel disoriented.

Not because something is wrong with you—
but because the structure that once held everything in place is no longer there.

This course isn’t about giving you new answers or telling you what to believe next.

It’s about helping you learn how to relate to yourself differently, so that whatever you come to believe… it’s actually yours.

Is this therapy?

No.

This is a coaching course.

My background as a therapist informs everything here, but this isn’t therapy, and it’s not a substitute for it.

You can share as much or as little as you want and feel comfortable with.
You won’t be pushed to go deeper than you’re ready to go.

The focus is on learning practical tools, especially the ability to notice what’s happening inside of you and respond with more clarity and self-kindness.

If you’re needing more individualized support, therapy or personalized coaching, whether with me or someone else, may be more helpful for where you are right now.

How much time does this actually take?

The course includes 12 lessons.

If you move through it as part of the cohort, it’s structured over 8 weeks. Each week, you’ll engage with one or two lessons and a reflection exercise, and then meet for a one-hour group session a few days later to process what came up.

In weeks 1, 4, and 8, we’ll meet together and move through those lessons as a group. These sessions include more interaction, but they’re part of the same overall process.

For both formats, most people spend about an hour per lesson outside of the sessions engaging the material. Some spend less, some spend more.

If you choose the self-paced version, you’ll have access to all 12 lessons and can move through them on your own timeline.

There’s no pressure to move quickly.

The pacing is intentional, because this kind of work tends to be more effective when it’s steady, not rushed.

And like most things, what you put into it tends to shape what you get out of it.

I’m a little afraid of what I might find...is that normal?

Yes.

That’s a very normal part of this process.

When you start to look more closely at your thoughts, patterns, and experiences, it can feel uncertain.

There can be hesitation.
There can be fear.

This course isn’t designed to force anything open.

It’s designed to help you build the ability to notice, gently, at your own pace.

You’re not being asked to dig as deep as possible.

You’re being invited to begin paying attention in a different way.

And over time, that creates space.

What’s the difference between the cohort and the self-paced course?

Both options include the same 12 lessons and the course workbook.

The difference is in how you move through them.

In the cohort, the course is experienced over 8 weeks.
You’ll watch the lesson videos on your own, and then a few days later we meet for a live group session to talk through the reflection exercise and anything that came up for you.

That group time is a chance to hear how others are processing, ask questions, and feel less alone in the experience.

In the self-paced version, you move through the lessons on your own timeline.
There are no group sessions, and you engage with the material independently.

Some people prefer the structure and shared experience of the cohort.
Others prefer the flexibility of moving at their own pace.

Both approaches work.
